Nigeria: Six Dead, 113 Hospitalized As Cholera Outbreak Hits Plateau

Six persons have been reported dead and 113 others hospitalized in fresh cholera outbreak in Bassa and Jos North local government areas of Plateau State.

Four of the victims died in Rukuba/Bassa and two in Jos metropolis as a result of the epidemic in the past two days. The case in Jos north involved a 61-year old caterer who was said to have complained of stooling and vomiting, symptoms peculiar to Cholera, taken to the hospital and died on Wednesday morning.
