Somalia: Search Crackdowns Conducted in Mogadishu

Search swoops were conducted in Mogadishu by Federal Government soldiers along with African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) troops that started late last night and lasted until 8 o'clock this morning.

Mostly, the crackdowns were performed in the Heliwaa district and it was reported that many people suspected of being affiliated with Al-Shabaab were arrested.
