press release

On Sunday, 6 April the life of one of the 6 remaining Housemates on BIG BROTHER MZANSI SECRETS will change forever when the results of the hotly contested viewer vote deciding the winner of the 63 day reality series is revealed during a must-watch two-hour live finale, starting at 18:00 on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161). Having spent the last two months delivering surprise after surprise, secret after secret, and twist after twist, Big Brother is no doubt ready to deliver his most exciting days yet!

REWARD HIGH: On Friday night (4 April) at 19:00 make sure you tune in to DStv channels 197 and 198 to watch as the Housemates leave the house and head out to feast in high style! That’s right…it’s up, up, up for Iris, Kat, Loko, Mandla, MK and Sol who will be enjoying a very special ‘dinner in the sky’, a magical culinary experience that will see the six strapped in and dining very literally ‘under the stars’. As their friendship goes to new heights, the Housemates will get the unique opportunity to toast each other miles above the ground!

BIGGIE’S A MAN OF MYSTERY: If the House is a hive, and the housemates are busy bees, then someone’s going to be hitting the honeypot this weekend. But, not exactly in the way audiences may be expecting. Word from Biggie is that he’s got a buzzing good feeling about the Finale so fans can only wait and wonder what his cryptic clue means for the big night.

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE VOTE: Audiences have been passionately loyal to their favourite Housemates all through the game, and with just three days to go, fan support matters more than ever! Remember that the power to decide just who gets the R 1 million payday is entirely in the viewer’s hands so if you haven’t voted yet, then make sure you do before voting closes on Sunday, 6 April at 06:00am. There are six different ways you can vote so check out the official website www.bigbrothermzansi.tv for info on how and when to vote.

HEADLINE ACTS: Since the series launch on Sunday, 2 February each Sunday Show has featured hot SA performers showcasing why, when it comes to the making hits, there is no stopping our stars! The Finale on Sunday, 6 April will be no different – look out for heavyweights Dr Malinga and Khuli Chana on stage, accompanied by the phenomenal movers and shakers of Vintage Dance Cru and Tembisa Revolution.

BIKES, FEARS AND FIRE: Whilst audiences are all too well aware that the show is heading to an exciting finish, for the Housemates who don’t know this is the last week of BIG BROTHER MZANSI SECRETS, it’s been business as usual and this week’s task kept them more than busy. Dubbed ‘Endurance Week’ the housemates had to cycle the equivalent of a trip from JHB to Cape Town on stationary bikes placed in the house. They also had to keep a campfire burning for days on end, without letting the flames go out. Plus, today (Thursday, 3 April), they face their fears when they are challenged to place their hands in a box, and identify the objects inside with just their fingers. With feathers and slime all part of the task, the Housemates are in the dark as to what exactly their hands will discover…

Meanwhile for audiences tuning in to Mzansi Magic on Sunday, 6 April at 18:00, you know exactly what you will discover. After 63 days of romance, laughter, tears, tantrums, fun, feuds, dancing, divas, nominations, evictions, tasks and triumphs, it’s time to discover just who the Winner of BIG BROTHER MZANSI SECRETS will be. Make sure you don’t miss it!

The official BIG BROTHER MZANSI SECRETS After-Party will also be held on Sunday night (6 April), at Kong nightclub in Rosebank. With all the Housemates and Chambermates reunited, it’s going to be the place to be. Tickets will be on sale at the door.
