Somalia: Parliament Calls On Govt. to Open Public Roads
Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary committee for National Security & Interior Dahir Amin Jesow, reported to Radio Shabelle in Mogadishu that they urged the Federal Governmen to open roads in towns and districts that have been seized from Al-Shabaab.
MP Jesow continued by underlining that Al-Shabaab have shut roads leading to towns that have been liberated and that there needs to be something done about it immediately.
The statement by the Member of Parliament comes a time when the Federal Government of Somalia sent their first supplies of humanitarian aid to areas captured from Al-Shabaab.
