Nigeria: Etisalat Sacks 74, Records 13 Percent Growth

Lagos — Etisalat has sacked 74 members of its staff. The move, the company said, would reinforce the organization's commitment to maintaining a high performance culture through its people.

Matthew Willsher, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat Nigeria, said the company remains fully committed to executing its business strategies with the help of a high-performing team of dedicated, hardworking employees, adding that the step was a strategic business decision as it continues to match its structure and quality of delivery with customers' expectations which is what makes customers happy and our business successful.
