Kenya: Daniel "Churchill" Ndambuki Becomes First Kenyan to Hit 1 Million "Likes" On Facebook

Kenyan comedian turned entrepreneur Daniel Ndambuki has hit one million "Likes" on his Facebook page, the highest such following by an individual in the country.

Ndambuki who hosts the comedy TV show "Churchill Live" has passed the one million follower base mark on Facebook making him the most endorsed individual on Kenyan social media.

Churchill as he is commonly known is also the director of the laugh industry that deals with various creative to the commercial and production aspects.

Following the milestone, Churchill posted the following message to thanking his fans: "Thanks a million. We have #onemillion reasons to smile."

Churchill beats Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta's fan page with close to 70,000 likes now at 920,000 likes and Kenyan Hollywood sensation Lupita Nyong'o with 826,000 followers on Facebook.

On Twitter, Ndambuki's handle @MwalimuChurchill has 90,000 followers.
