Kano — Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) has yesterday after a meeting with different party leadership in the state agreed for a three day extension on sales and collection of aspiration form for the state local government elections slated for May 17 2014.
Speaking during the meeting, KANSIEC Chairman Dr. Sani Lawal Malumfashi stated that the thirst for a free and fair local government election had necessitated the commission to extend the dateline on two different occasion adding that the present extension is the third and the last the commission will do.
