Nigeria: Traditional Leader Behind Bars for Fraud

Abuja — A traditional ruler has appeared in court after he played part in the defrauding a man by suspects falsely claiming to be officials from a leading oil company.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned Cornelius Nwoga, before Justice Agishi of the Federal High Cour in Enugu an eight-count charge of conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretence.
