Malawi: Local NGO Pushes for Improved Food Security in Dowa

Dowa — A local Non-governmental Organisation, Kafulu Community Development Organisation with support from Government and World Vision is targeting to assist 1,500 households in 20 Group Village Headmen in the area of Traditional Authority Kayembe in Dowa district.

Speaking in an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana), the organization's Executive Secretary, Gibson Kapepeka khembo said the organization's goal is to contribute to improved living standards for 24, 850 people of Kafulu community through establishing linkages with government and other non-governmental organizations that have an interest to develop the area.
