US President Barrack Obama's aunt Zeituni Obama will be buried at Karachunyo village in Homa Bay county on a date yet to be set. Zetuni died on Tuesday night in Boston, USA.

Obama's grandmother Mama Sarah Obama said both their families in Kogelo and Karachunyo are making burial arrangements for her daughter. Speaking to the Star on the phone yesterday, Mama Sarah said her son, who is also in the US, is making efforts on how the body can be flown to Kenya. She said Zeituni died out of breast cancer, which she has battled for a long time while seeking treatment in various hospitals in the US.

"She has battled the disease for several years getting treatment from various hospitals," Mama Sarah said. She described Zeituni, who lived in Boston, as a jovial and friendly woman who loved her family and established a home with them in America.
