Mozambique: Donors Criticise Shortages of Medicines

Maputo — Interruptions in the supply of medicines to health units, insufficient spraying to prevent malaria, a huge unsatisfied demand for family planning, and high rates of chronic malnutrition are some of the main challenges that the Mozambican national health service must make efforts to overcome.

These were the findings expressed on Thursday by the government's partners in the health sector at a meeting in Maputo of the Sector Coordination Committee (CCS)
