Angola: Ruling Party's MPs End Working Visit to Lunda Sul Province

Saurimo — The delegation of the Parliamentary Group of the MPLA, led by MP Mawete João Baptista , Friday ended working visit to the province of Lunda Sul

During its five-day stay , parliamentarians visited the four municipalities of the province, particularly Saurimo , Dala, and Cacolo Muconda , where they presented the political agenda of his party and collected information about the process of revitalizing its basic structures.

In the municipalities, the MP met separately with militants, friends and supporters of the party, members of the consultation board and social dialogue, traditional authorities, former combatants and veterans of the homeland, youth, civil society and OMA.

During the meeting, the participants raised concerns to lawmakers and needs of the population in each municipality and asked the government's efforts in solving problems related to youth support , distribution of electricity and sanitation .
