Angola: Bengo Governor Calls for People's Participation in Population Census

Caxito — The governor of the northern Bengo province, João Bernardo de Miranda, called on Saturday in Caxito, for the local people?s participation in the General Population and Housing Census, set for May.

The official appealed to the local population to collaborate with the census takers so that the process may occur successfully.

He said that with this process, the government will be able to know the number of inhabitants of province so as to better plan programmes toward the population.
