Eritrea: Efforts Being Exerted to Enable the Society Develop Resolving Legal Issues Based On Societal Values and Tradition - Minister Fawzia Hashim

Barentu — At a meeting she conducted with community magistrates, Ms. Fawzia Hashim, Justice Minister, indicated that efforts are being exerted to enable the society develop and preserve resolving legal issues based on societal values and tradition.

She further stated that the training being conducted by law professionals for elected staff of community magistrates in different parts of the country have been the continuation of the efforts to qualitatively and quantitatively develop community based social justice, and that basic facilities and necessary human resources would be put into place.

Ms. Fawzia also said that law school would be established at national level aimed at strengthening the necessary human resources.

The participants on their part called for conducting sustainable training programs to enable the society raise awareness on law and strengthen the community magistrates in the region.
