THE Kenya National Blood Transfusion Service has launched an Easter special blood drive. It will be carried out at six centres in Nairobi and 11 satellites across the country between Saturday and April 23.
The KNBTS aims to collect 20,000 units of blood. KNBTS director Mary Oduor said they get a shortage when schools and colleges are closed for holidays.
