Residents living in Bojanala District in the North West will soon benefit from a Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR TB) unit and five medical wards, which will open this week at Job Shimankana Tabane Hospital.
Health MEC Dr Magome Masike will officially open the unit, which forms part of decentralising the MDR TB treatment model, aimed at making TB treatment accessible and closer to communities.
