A validation event geared at including the inputs of national and international development partners and ordinary Liberians into Liberia's draft National Housing policy kicks off in Monrovia this week.
The exercise, which runs from April 17-18, brings together major stakeholders, including United Nations Habitat boss, Dr. Aisa Kirabo Kacyira, and President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf at the Monrovia City hall. The validation is expected to consider a national policy development, formulation, legislative and international frameworks, among many others, to get the document on par with global housing policies.
