Egypt: Interpol Arrests Former Finance Minister Boutros-Ghali

Cairo — The international police agency Interpol arrested former Egyptian finance minister Youssef Boutros Ghali during his visit to Paris on Monday, Director of Egypt's Interpol Magdi Shafei said.

Boutros Ghali served as finance minister under toppled President Hosni Mubarak.

He was sentenced in absentia to life in prison in a corruption case last year.
