Kenya: Migori Set to Plant 300,000 Tree Seedlings

THE Migori county government will plant more than 300,000 seedlings during the rainy season. Environment executive Polycarp Ating'a said the county seeks to increase the forest cover.

Ating'a said the seedlings will be planted on hills, institutions and on public land. He called on residents to take part in tree planting. "We will ensure trees are planted in all eight subcounties," Ating'a said.
