Liberia: Ivorian Witnesses On Hold, Fifth Witness Stand in Mercenary Case

Monrovia — As three Ivorian witnesses announced by the state to testify in the ongoing mercenary trial involving 18 defendants are still on the waiting list, state lawyers (prosecution) are expected to put on the witness stand their fifth witness today (Wednesday) since the consumption of the trial three weeks ago.

Barely three weeks now since the resumption of the trial prosecution has produced three witnesses with the fourth witness leaving the witness stand on Tuesday following a cross examination from the defense counsel led by human rights lawyer, Cllr. Tiawan Gongloe.
