Nigeria: Borno Govt. Offers N50million On Credible Information About Abducted School Girls

Gov Kashim Shettima of Borno State today promised to give N50 million to any individual or group that would volunteer credible information on the whereabouts of over 100 girls abducted at GGSS Chibok on Monday.

The visibly shocked gov addressed a press conference at the government house today.

"Even in Islam, women and children are spared during war," he said.

Shettima said 14 of the abducted girls have returned and he is in touch with the principal of the school and the district head of Chibok.
