Kenya: MP Censures Duale Remarks

17 April 2014

MBEERE North MP Charles Muri has threatened to table a censure motion against Majority Leader Aden Duale over his stance on the fight against terrorism.

He asked Duale to publicly apologise to the Jubilee coalition over his remarks on terrorism. Muri said Duale's remarks that terrorists should attack elsewhere and not the Eastleigh area were quite unsavoury and inciting. He was speaking in Ishiara village where he opened a CDF office.
