Nigeria: Obanikoro - Opposition's Attack On Me Distracting

The Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has said the opposition's attack on him is distracting, adding that the coordinated and relentless media assault on his person and office is to demonise him in the public.

In a statement made available to THISDAY yesterday by his Personal Assistant, Mr. Ikenna Ezekwe, he noted that at a time of national emergency, when attention was required to surmount daunting security challenges, an unpatriotic clique within the opposition political circles had collectively chosen to distract him with spurious reports of phantom incidents.
