Africa: MIF Announces 2014 Ibrahim Fellows

London — Today the Mo Ibrahim Foundation announced the three 2014 Ibrahim Fellows. Established in 2010, the Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships is a selective programme designed to identify and support potential African leaders of the future. The Ibrahim Leadership Fellows receive mentoring from the current leaders of three key multilateral institutions.

The fellows will each spend one year in the executive offices of either the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the African Development Bank (AfDB) or the International Trade Centre (ITC). The 2014 Ibrahim Fellows, chosen from among a pool of over 1,000 applicants, are:
