ALTHOUGH defaulting remains to be the major challenge to most lending institutions, the Tanzania Postal Bank (TPB) has managed to keep low its Non Performing Loan (NPL) at four per cent which is below the industry rate of around seven per cent.
This was said in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday by the TPB Chief Executive Officer Mr Sabasaba Moshingi while briefing journalists on the bank's financial performance for the year 2013.
