Egypt: Gafi Chairman - We Are Committed to Improve Egypt's Rank in Doing Business Report

General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Chairman Hassan Fahmi asserted that the government is currently working on developing a host of procedures and legislations that would, in turn, improve the business climate.

He pointed out that Egypt's rank, in the Ease of Doing Business Index of the World Bank, retreated to hit 128- out of 185- in 2014 instead of the 106 due to the circumstances that Egypt had witnessed following the revolution.
