Egypt: Interior Ministry Arrests 29 Brotherhood Supporters in Five Cities

Cairo — Egypt's Interior Ministry said it has arrested 29 Muslim Brotherhood supporters on Friday during demonstrations in five cities.

Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Suez and Sharqiya witnessed minor rallies for Brotherhood members, the ministry said on Facebook.

Police forces were able to disband the demonstrators, it added.

The National Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy has called for staging demonstrations on Friday as part of its ongoing weekly demonstrations.
