Somalia: Plane Crash Incident in Guriel of the Galgaduud Region
A plane crashed today at the Guriel airport in the Galgaduud region after it was descending to land at the airstrip. Witnesses describe that the plane was carrying khat, and it descended at the runway when it was not supposed to.
Furthermore, they described as being 'completely wrecked' with the front part of the plane releasing smoke.
There have been no comments from the Guricel airport management regarding today's incident.
