Morocco: HM the King Congratulates Mali's New President

Rabat — HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Mali's newly-elected president Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.

The Malian people has testified, through this successful ballot, to its aspiration to peace and stability and to its will to build inclusive and participative democracy in a spirit of national reconciliation, being the warrant of Mali's territorial integrity, progress and prosperity, the Sovereign said in the message.

HM the King also renews its constant resolve to further consolidate the longstanding friendship bonds existing between Morocco and the Republic of Mali, on the basis of solidarity, mutual respect and fruitful cooperation at the service of the aspirations and shared interests of the two brother people.

The Sovereign also expresses congratulations and best wishes to the new Malian president, paying tribute to his outstanding patriotic history, qualities and expertise.
