Kenya: Student to Sell Kidney for His College Fees

A student from Suna West constituency has opted to sell his kidney to raise money to join college. Philip Odhiambo, who sat his KCSE examination and got a grade of B- at Sagero Mixed Secondary School four years ago, said he is ready to sell his vital organ and join a medical college.

Odhiambo yesterday said he has tried all other avenues to raise fees for the college of his dream but in vain. Odhiambo, who is a partial orphan, does odd jobs to provides for his seven siblings due to his mother's poor health.
