Western Sahara: President of Republic Expresses Condemnation At Visit of Ivorian Interior Minister to Dakhla Occupied City

Shaheed Hafed — The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, has expressed condemnation at the visit of Ivorian Interior Minister to the occupied city of Dakhla and its exploitation by Morocco as propaganda in the official media to cover up the truth and legitimize its illegal occupation of Western Sahara, in a letter Sunday to Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara.

In his letter, the President of the Republic pointed out that Cote d'Ivoire has been known since the outbreak of the conflict of its 'positive and constructive' position, adding that we still remember well former Ivorian Foreign Minister Siméon Aké, who headed the mission of the United Nations fact-finding mission during the period of Spanish colonization of our country in 1975, whose report confirmed that the solution to the conflict must guarantee the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.
