Lady driver Leila Mayanja has challenged top men competitors by confirming her readiness to take them on in the MPU rally set for May 3-4 in Masaka. Leila, who has so far posted respectable finishes after rounds of the championship (NRC) series, is the only lady competitor active after former champion Susan 'Super Lady' Muwonge and Rose Lwakataka went silent.
Driving a Toyota Allex, Leila finished ninth and fourth in this season's opening events in Mbarara and Jinja respectively. Premised on her results from the aforementioned rallies, Leila is expected to improve further her position finish in the MPU rally.
