Tunisia: 'Security Situation Has Improved Significantly' - Jomaa

Tunis, — "The security situation in Tunisia has improved significantly though terrorist threats still persist," interim PM Mehdi Jomaa said Tuesday.

Speaking at the opening of the preparatory meeting for the National Conference on the Economy scheduled next May 28, he noted that security and army units are directing attacks on terrorist hideouts, referring to the security operations conducted in the governorate of Ariana (February) and those of Mount Chaambi.
