Botswana: Helicopter Debris Found, Crew Dead

A search and rescue team has found debris of the Botswana Police Service's helicopter with all the three persons who were on board dead.

Police Commissioner Keabetswe Makgophe said the helicopter had crashed in the Okavango Delta. Commissioner Makgophe thanked everyone who was involved in the search and passed on the deepest condolences to the bereaved families.

The police helicopter BPS02 went missing while the crew was returning from Gumare to Maun on Sunday evening.
