Liberia: Money Can't Buy Weah - CDC Rubbishes Senatorial Sellout Rumor

Monrovia — Liberia's main opposition Congress for Democratic Change popular amongst the huge youthful population has long been accused of trading politics for money with aspirants accordingly making their way on the party's ticket using the mighty dollars.

Before the 2011 general and Presidential elections, Weah and the CDC were accused of receiving money from opposition Politian Cllr. Charles W. Brumskine in order to form an alliance with the Liberty Party to pave the way for Weah to go as vice running mate to Cllr. Brumskine although the CDC denied such allegations.
