Liberia: Dr. Sawyer Wants Reform in Legislative Process

The Governance Commission in collaboration with the Law Reform Commission are opting for all bills that will be passed by both the House of Representatives and Senate to be implemented before reaching the President for signing into Law.

The GC Commissioner, Dr. Amos Sawyer, said: "The issue of making Laws for our people in this country needs a serious attention, because it's not only members of the Legislature that supposed to make Law for our people; it is also a governmental process to be able to identify the key actors and their working relationship to have a good government in this country."
