Tanzania: LEAT Fights to Remove Leaded Paints From Market

AFTER successfully leading a campaign which convinced the government to disband leaded petrol, Lawyers Environmental Action Team (LEAT) are now targeting to get rid of leaded paints.

LEAT Executive Director, Dr Lugemeleza Nshala said in Dar es Salaam that lead is both an environmental and health hazard hence should be gotten rid of in the country.
