Kenya: Pangani Attack Shines Spotlight On Kenya Police Tactics

Nairobi — A routine traffic stop near Pangani Police Station in Nairobi turned deadly Wednesday night (April 23rd) when two suspects detonated explosives in their car, killing themselves and two police officers.

"We suspect the two attackers were suicide bombers planning their mission somewhere we have not yet ascertained at the moment," Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo told Sabahi. "Unfortunately, we have lost two dedicated officers."
