Sierra Leone/Malawi: Malawi, Sierra Leone Ease Into Second Round

Malawi and Sierra Leone have booked their places into the second round of the Orange CAF U-20 Championship Senegal 2015 qualifiers.

The two sides sealed their spots on Friday (25 April 2014) in the second leg matches of the first round.

The Junior Flames of Malawi beat their Botswana counterpart 2-1 away from home to advance 3-1 on aggregate.

Elsewhere in Conakry, Petit Syli Nationale of Guinea were stunned 1-0 by visiting Sierra Leone, allowing the Shooting Stars passage 2-0 on aggregate.

The remaining teams for the second round will be known after the completion of the second leg matches on Sunday, 27 April 2014.

The final tournament will take place from 8-22 March 2015 in Senegal with the semi-finalists qualifying to represent Africa at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
