Angola: Self-Employment Fair in Line With Socio-Economic Policy Guidelines - Minister

Luanda — The first Self-employment and entrepreneurship fair coincides with the broad guidelines of socio-economic policy enshrined in the National Development Plan (PND) for 2013/2017 period, said on Friday the minister of Trade, Rosa Pacavira.

Rosa Pacavira, who was speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, underlined that the inclusion of youth in promoting employment strategy deserved special attention in the referred plan.

According to her, this is the result of various youth activities held in 2013, with stress to the consultation meetings held with young people in the same year.

Stressing its importance, the minister said that the activity is a stage for displaying the creative and entrepreneurial skills of the Angolan young people.

The official said that the government, through the Angola Youth programme, contributes to reduction of social inequalities, allowing young people access to housing for all projects, under the construction in several cities nationwide.
