Angola: President's Engagement in 11 Commitments for Children Highlighted

Kuito — The engagement of the Angolan President José Eduardo dos Santos in the materialization of the 11 commitments for the children assumed by the Angolan government was stressed Friday.

The fact was stressed by director general of National institute for Children (INAC), Ruth Madalena Mixingi.

The official said so to Angop during her three-day assessing visit to the central Bie province, adding that the government investments in favour of the child are evident.

Among the projects, the INAC director mentioned the construction of schools, hospitals, houses, electricity and water systems.

She stressed that the projects are allowing socio-economic development in the country and directly reflects on the improvement of the families' living standards, especially the children.

During her stay in Bie, Ruth Madalena Mixingi visited the local projects linked to the children.
