Angola: Vice-President Unveils Youth House in Ndalatando

Ndalatando — The city of Ndalatando, capital of the northern Cuanza Norte province, gained on Friday a Youth House, inaugurated by the Vice-president of the Republic, Manuel Domingos Vicente.

The infrastructure, built under the Public Investments Programme of Cuanza Norte province is a three-floor building aimed for the training and occupation of the free times of youths.

The construction works of the Youth House are estimated at AKZ 563 million.

After unveiling the plaque, the Vice-president toured the compartments that comprise the Youth House of Ndalatando, where he was briefed on its functioning and services.

The inauguration act was witnessed by officials of the central and provincial governments, clerics, chieftains, political authorities and people in general.

Cuanza Norte is a province of Angola. Ndalantando is the capital and it has an area of 20,252 km² and a population of approximately 500,000. Cuanza Norte lies on the northern bank of the Cuanza River.
