Kenya: Trans Nzoia to Set Up Sh2 Billion Holding Company

The Trans Nzoia government is planning to set up a Sh2 billion holding company. Speaking to the Star in his office yesterday, Deputy governor Stanley Tarus said the company will have subsidiaries.

He said they are holding meetings with investors ahead of the launch The subsidiaries are maize milling, milk cooling plants and soya beans processing firms. The board of directors will be formed to manage the company. Wananchi, investors and saccos will be allowed to buy shares.
