Nigeria: Niger Spends N20 Billion On Road Project

Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State yesterday in Badeggi town, said his administration had since 2007 invested N20 billion in the execution of road projects across the state. Aliyu disclosed this at the commencement of the construction of the 38km Badeggi-Bakeko-Katcha road project in Katcha Local Government Area of the state in fulfillment of his campaign promises.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), he said the N20 billion was part of the N36 billion infrastructural bond sourced from the capital market by the present administration from 2007 to date.
