Nigeria: Daramola's Murder - I Did Not Exonerate Fayose - Ekiti Monarch

Ado Ekiti — The traditional ruler of Ijan Ekiti, in Gbonyin Local Government of Ekiti State, Oba Oyewole Fadahunsi, has said that the gubernatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the June 21 governorship election, Mr Ayo Fayose, has explanations to offer the people of the State on the gruesome murder of Dr Ayodeji Daramola in 2006.

Daramola, who hailed from Ijan, was a gubernatorial aspirant of the PDP in the 2007 governorship election in Ekiti. But the election did not hold because of the declaration of state of emergency by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
