The Kenya Tea Development Authority has urged the government to supply tea farmers with subsidised fertiliser. KTDA national chairman Peter Kanyago said the current price of Sh2,300 per 50kg bag is too expensive.
"Whatever subsidy by government is welcome so that farmers can save more money," he said.
