Nigeria: Allison-Madueke Fails to Stop Reps Probe of N10 Billion Jet Scandal

Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke, and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) have suffered a setback in their legal battle to stop their appearance before the House of Representatives to answer questions on a N10 billion allegedly spent to charter private jets for personal uses.

A Federal High Court in Abuja refused their application for an interim injunction to stop the House Public Accounts Committee from inviting them for a probe into the expenditure.
