All that glitters is not gold, so goes the maxim, which can be associated with corps of opulent individuals and groups that parade society. While the wealth of some of these individuals and groups may be a result of hard work, inheritance and dedication, some are a product of deceit, trickery and crime and they go out faking the traits of the "good guys". Human Rights Activist Tiawan Gonglo exposed the farce in a presentation at public forum in Monrovia. The Analyst reports.
"Money-laundering is not good for any country. It has numerous bad effects on any country. The first is that if drug-traffickers find themselves in a country where the proceeds of their criminal activities can be easily transformed into good money, they will bring in more drugs and more and more young people of that country will be exposed to drug addiction."
