Tunisia: MG and Auchan to Open Five Hypermarkets in Tunisia

Paris — Tunisian "Magasin Général" (MG) and French group Auchan will open five hypermarkets by means of investments worth 1,000 million dinars, a representative of the Bayahi Group said.

In a statement to TAP news agency correspondent, the source who requested anonymity, specified that the project which will be achieved in partnership between the Bayahi Group "Magasin Général Company" and Auchan, will regard the achievement of five hypermarkets in the regions of Rades, Gafsa, Tozeur, Jendouba and Sousse.

"This project which was presented to Interim Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa will create 6,000 jobs," the same source said.
