Egypt Govt Launches Website for Presidential Candidates

Cairo — The Egyptian government's information centre has launched a website focused on the two presidential candidates competing next month.

Former army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and leftist politician Hamdeen Sabahi are the two official candidates contesting Egypt's upcoming presidential elections.

Egyptians are voting for a new president in May.

The cabinet said that the website's purpose is to give voters a chance to know the candidates and to provide vital information related to the electoral process.
